Driven Kristen and sweet Zach were a joy to work with on their Norman engagement pictures. An absolute treasure. Seeing how much in love they were was just precious. We decided to explore the Norman OU campus for their session, where Kristen and Zach showed me what are now some of my favorite spots to photograph in!
We found gorgeous weeping willows (my favorite tree), a pristine little rose garden, and some absolutely gorgeous wood doors. All of these we featured in their engagement session. My personal favorite part was the grove of willow trees, but the rose garden was exciting as well. It was so nice to be shown around campus and not have to wander around wondering where all of the good spots were! Kristen is studying to be a doctor so she has so much in store for her in the coming years, so I’m so glad she’ll have someone like Zach to support her and adventure with her along the way. There’s nothing like having your best friend along with you for the big ride, and it was clear that they had each other to rely on completely.
Here’s what Kristen had to say about her session:
“I was excited about my engagement and excited to take pictures to remember it by, but I don’t really like being photographed. But I knew her and I knew that she took amazing photos. I look back on my pictures a lot and they make me really happy. She was really easy to work with. I was worried it might be awkward taking engagement pictures but it was so relaxed and chill. She made us feel comfortable and was able to give enough direction that we knew what to do but also freedom for us to be ourselves. I’m married now and working towards my goal of becoming a doctor! Working with Amanda was so easy and relaxed, we had a great time!”
